Apply to transfer or transmit a Western lands lease

Before you apply

  • This application must be submitted by the Solicitor or Conveyancer representing the beneficiary, vendor and/or the purchaser to obtain Minister’s Consent to Transfer a Western Lands Lease.
  • Prepare the documents you may have to support your online application form.
  • You will need the details of the Vendor and the Purchaser and the Solicitor or Conveyancer acting on their behalf where transfer or transmission by sale/purchase.
  • You will need the details of the beneficiary where transmission to a beneficiary and the Solicitor or Conveyancer acting on their behalf.

Supporting documentation

Required documents for a transfer or transmission is by sale/purchase:

  • A certified copy of the exchanged Contract of Sale, including any special conditions that apply.
  • A certified copy of the Transfer (01T) dealing (a draft is acceptable).

Required documents for transmission to a beneficiary or by sale/purchase:

  • A certified copy of Letters of Administration/Probate.
  • A certified copy of the Transmission (03AE) dealing (a draft is acceptable).

Required purchaser documents:

  • A current copy of the ASIC company search where the purchaser or beneficiary is a company.
  • A current copy of the Certificate of Incorporation where the purchaser or beneficiary is an Incorporated Association.

The documentation requested above must be provided with the application – omission of any of the documentation may delay the processing time.

Application fee

You will be invoiced for the fee once your application is checked and accepted. Please note this process may take up to 10 working days from receipt of application.
