Crown Lands

General lease

Find out about general leases and how to apply or manage these leases.

We issue leases to:

  • individuals
  • companies
  • non-government organisations
  • government agencies
  • community groups
  • sporting groups.

The leases recognise us as the owner and landlord (or lessor) and the applicant as the tenant (or lessee).

When considering a lease application, we assess whether a competitive process or direct negotiation will be the most appropriate process.
