Mortgage your lease

To mortgage a Crown land lease, you may need the Minister's consent. This depends on the lease conditions and notifications on the Lands Title Register.

The initial assessment will check for any objections to the mortgage. We can refuse the application if it's not in the Crown's interest.

You need to submit the following documents with your application:

• ASIC current and historical company extract of the proposed mortgagee.
• Certified copy of the proposed mortgage.
• Any agreements related to the mortgage of the Crown land lease.
• Certified copy of registered power of attorney, if applicable.

We will send you an invoice for any fees after we receive your application. Once you pay the application fee, we will process your application.
