Find out about enclosure permits and beekeeping permits (apiary sites) required for using Crown land.
An enclosure permit allows the owner of an adjoining property to use a Crown road for grazing stock and fencing it into their private land. This permit does not grant ownership of the Crown road or restrict public access.
Beekeeping on Crown land in NSW requires a permit. The Department of Primary Industries and Regional Development (DPIRD) administer these permits on behalf of Crown Lands.
