Consent and easement are related issues when you’re seeking the right to access and use Crown land.
- Easements are generally for rights of access and use of Crown land for utilities and infrastructure.
- Written consent from the landowner (Crown Lands) is also required since 25 November 2022.
The NSW Environmental Planning and Assessment Amendment (Miscellaneous) Regulation (No 2) 2022 requires written owner’s consent to the making of a development application.
