Apply for a general licence
A licence is an authority granted by Crown Lands and gives permission to occupy and use Crown land for a specified purpose/s.

Apply for a domestic waterfront licence
You need consent to build new structures or alter structures on Crown land below the mean high water mark, and you must have a licence in place before construction begins.

Alter a licence
A licensee can request an alteration to their licence in some circumstances.

Transfer a licence
Licences that provide a benefit to freehold or leasehold land (not crown land) will automatically transfer when that land is sold.

Terminate a licence
Licences can be terminated at any time or will be considered upon the request of the licensee.

Surrender a lease
A leaseholder(s) can make an application to surrender their existing lease. The reason(s) for the application will need to be detailed and evidenced in order to allow the minister to consider the request.

Buying your lease
Leases are bought and sold in the same way as freehold property. However, when you 'buy' a lease, you are in fact only buying the improvements on the leased land and the right to lease the land from the state.

Incomplete purchases
An incomplete purchase is a tenure describing a former lease from the Crown that is in the process of being purchased.
