- The ecological assessment of potential impacts on the adjoining wetlands has been completed, and Crown Lands is continuing to work with the NSW Environment Protection Authority and neighbouring land managers, including National Parks and Wildlife Service, NSW Fisheries, and Sutherland Shire Council to guide design and sustainable site rehabilitation.
- Planning is underway for the next stage of works, which is expected to include construction of a new seawall and management of contaminated land. Subject to funding.
