We’re continuing works at Fivebough Wetlands to upgrade the water management system and protect parts of the walking track.
Construction is progressing, with desilting works nearing completion and preparations underway for installation of a new water control structure. These works will help water move more efficiently through the wetlands and reduce erosion affecting the track.

- temporary closure of the Fivebough Wetlands walking track
- construction vehicles and machinery in the area
- detours directing visitors to the alternative lookout at Hooey's Lookout
- ongoing changes to work areas as activities progress across the site.
