A new seawall and waterside walk has been completed at Kiama Harbour as part of a $3 million investment.
The project will improve the stability of the seawall and the safety, amenity, and accessibility of the coastal walkway.
Crown lands also commissioned artwork with Illawarra Local Aboriginal Land Council that showcases a whale pattern embedded as a feature on the seawall.
The seawall will provide stronger protection against storm surges to safeguard Black Beach Reserve, and the walkway will better connect people to local features like the rockpool, blowhole and parkland.
