Crown reserves policies listing

This policy provides a guide for trust boards who manage Crown reserves relative to the requirements for food and beverage outlets on Crown reserves.



Many Crown caravan parks and camping areas are within bushfire prone lands identified for the purposes of the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act, 1979 and the requirements under the Rural Fires Act 1997 to take practical steps to prevent bush fires on Crown lands.

The Reserve Trusts - Self-Enforcing Infringement Notice Scheme (SEINS) policy and procedure has been developed to clarify and make consistent the procedures required by reserve trust members (trust board, corporation, or administrator) and reserve employees who wish to issue penalty infringement notices (PINs) for offences on Crown land reserves. The policy also identifies the rights of individuals in receipt of a PIN and the obligation of trust members and reserve employees to ensure an open and ethical approach is undertaken in all dealings.
