Iluka is situated on the northern side of the Clarence River and is approximately 535 km north of Sydney on the far north coast of NSW.

The Clarence River is the largest coastal river in NSW and has a significant history as one of the earliest northern ports.

Coastal harbour facilities at Iluka were completed in 1972 to provide mooring and unloading facilities for the local fishing fleet.

The harbour also provides a range of maritime facilities for recreational boat owners.

Fresh local seafood is available from the fishermen’s cooperative.
