Bermagui

Bermagui

The coastal harbour of Bermagui is situated on the NSW South Coast approximately 300 km south of Sydney.

The harbour was first formed in 1937 by dredging a shallow natural basin near the entrance of the Bermagui River and the ocean.

Bermagui Harbour is an important maritime asset for both the local economy and NSW fishing industry.

It is also a popular south coast recreational fishing and boating centre and is the closest port to the continental shelf along the NSW coast.
